Wilxcox Fabrications were commissioned by Wilmot Dixon Construction Ltd. to construct a large stainless steel Brise Soleil for the front fascade of the building together with a complex roof cowling shaped like a ships funnel in perforated aluminium. Fabricated at our workshop in Northampton the final installation was completed by one of our teams on site.

In recent years structural glass has become very popular with interior designers, architects and developers wishing to create prestigious developments with immediate impact.

As a material structural glass requires sympathetic and experienced handling. Wilcox Fabrications have been utilising this versatile and, when professionally treated extremely strong material for over 20 years. We have designed and installed literally hundreds of architectural features incorporating structural glass throughout the UK.

Complete installations can be designed and manufactured out of toughened glass or, as a more contemporary alternative, toughened glass can be combined with materials such as stainless steel, galvanised steel, mild steel and hardwood.

We recommend an early discussion with Wilcox Fabrications to discuss your requirements. Should your project warrant the services of our draftsman, we can complete a detailed 3D rendered drawing of your structural glass feature prior to fabrication. This service often saves time and more importantly costly mistakes.

Once constructed one of our experienced  teams will be assigned to complete the installation of your finished project.
